The Bears Claimed Kicker Roberto Aguayo Off Waivers..

Hahahahahaha no I’m serious.

After the Buccaneers released Roberto Aguayo yesterday, I had a strange feeling the Bears would pick him up off of waivers.

This dude was a fucking monster at Florida State University which lead to Tampa Bay pulling the trigger and taking him the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Here we are, not even a year and a half later, and Aguayo was released. He struggled mightily in his rookie year and continued to in the teams first pre-season game this year, missing two kicks.

The dudes a bust. I’m not expecting him to make the Bears roster but if he is able to return to his old form, that would be a decent pick up for the Bears.

And oh by the way… three days after the Bucs drafted Aguayo, they released the Bears current kicker, Connor Barth. So if Aguayo manages to win the job, that would be the second time he’s beaten out Barth. Lol.
